My name is Chakayla Absalom, and I’m an author, aspiring filmmaker, and devoted mother. At 34 years old, I proudly call Alexandria, Virginia, my home. Ella's Corner Co. inspired by my late grandmother Eloise, creates inclusive and emotionally impactful content to empower children and families in navigating life’s challenges. Through engaging children’s books, visually compelling short films, and practical educational resources, the company addresses important topics like autism, grief, self-expression, and emotional wellness. Each creation fosters understanding, empathy, and healing by blending relatable storytelling with actionable tools for parents, caregivers, and educators.
